The kids in the old climbing tree.

"The Formation"

Here are the French?????

This group was really neat!

Need I say more?

On Sunday when we were packing up and leaving there were some people dressed up walking around outside the hotel. We found out that they were part of a re-enactment on King George St. We checked it out and it was kind of cool. We just got to see them in formation and their camps. There were all the soldiers, many women and children participating. Actually pretty cool.

These were either French or German (we think.) All we know is that we couldn't figure out what they were saying.

The Patriots and their Daddy.

More "red coats!!!" Felt like we were watching THE PATRIOT movie!!!

Em in the stocks.

This is just HA-larious of Alex!!!! He tried to get out and then realized that his head was stuck, he kind of freaked out. LOL!

Alex chillin' on his water ride. Reminds me of old school Lakeside.

These guys were playing on the stairs of The General Store on the strip. We gave them a tip and then asked if the kids could take a pic with them. The drummer kept on playing. Alex wouldn't have anything to do with this.

Em's next coaster. The smaller version of the orig. She said the almost lost her stomach. It kept on bobbing up and down. I couldn't even do this one!

The splash area at Elmo's world. It was the end of the day and Alex couldn't resist- he was soaked!!!

Their first roller coaster! In Elmo's world. Emily kept saying that she wanted to ride the big ones, but I told her that she'll have to wait to come down with her Aunt Jeanie or Paw-Paw Yearout.

It was pretty high and fast for a "kiddy coaster." No flips but several spins and speed.

They rode this on their belly. Emily took a little rest while everyone was loading.

Fully strapped down!

Alex on his lady bug.

2011 Williamsburg

Land of the dinosaurs. Emily wanted the purple one.

Alex was in a "mood" and Emily... I just don't know what she was doing. They were in a dinosaur egg.

Alex said the merry-go-round was one of his favs!

When we first got there we went into a 4D theater. It was a pirate movie and they loved it! I told Alex when he got scared to take his glasses off, (They only came off a couple times.)

They might have been a bit too big for this thing and it might have been difficult to push around, but it's worth it's weight in gold! Worth every bit of $16! Yes, Dad i hear your, "Oh my stars!" =)

Courageous: The Movie

Courageous: The Movie

I hope I did this right. Click on the link below and watch the trailer for this new movie coming in Sept. I cannot wait to see it and I pray that it will spread like a wildfire thru the Christian community and beyond. May it deeply effect the men of GRBC!

I couldn't NOT add this one!

He was trying to one of his Daddy's looks. I think he hit it spot on. What do you think? =)

A Sunday afternoon at the river

The view from the river. Just enjoying the afternoon and enjoying the view.

Hanging out on the other side of the river. Looks deep and rough, but really it wasn't bad. Just so much fun!

At first glance you'd think they were at the beach. HA! Looking for shells/rocks and other things under the water. If Liz were in this shot then it would be complete. =)

Pa-Paw showing Alex how to skip a rock on the water.

Alex the fisherman! What a cutie!

Shower for Ellie Jo Bono

Connie's game called "MY WATER BROKE!" There was a baby frozen in an icecube and the idea was to be the first person to have their baby free from the ice. When you notice that the baby is free you're supposed to yell, "MY WATER BROKE!" It was really funny and ended quicker than I thought. Oh well, the guests liked it. =)

Kris and Avery trying to warm their cups to melt their ice cube.

Pam thought about letting her legs warm the water.

Here's just the beginning of the gift table. This table was overflowing with presents for Ellie by the time we got started opening them. What a blessing!

Here is the gift that Mom and I put together. Pretty creative if I do say so myself! ;) Mom the "master florist" took care of the arrangement. The flowers are in a potty seat.

Meet my Tiger Lilies

I don't know which one is prettier... I know, I can hear you ... all together... AWWWWW

I love the yellow ones.

This one is Rob's Hokie Lily.

If I remember correctly this one was origionally red, but it's beside an orange lily so I think it's become a "mixed breed."

Kind of cool though.

Sherbert

Dinner with the Smelsons

Emily made a hop-scotch (is that how you spell it?) ANYHOO, she's having fun with her new creation.

Alex and "the gurls" making a mess of Rob's pad. He lets the kids draw on the pad but the driveway is OFF LIMITS. Of course when everyone is in bed the pad gets a bath...

Alex showing Eva how to draw with chalk.

Eva chowing down on Aunt Connie's Sketty. I think she likes it.

The clan having dinner and you guessed it, my children have to be the nasty ones. Oh well, at least they ate good. Can't say so much for LPB... =)
