Another one bites the dust!!!!!!

I was filming Alex on his bike then all of a sudden, CRASH!!!!! First you see Alex's face as he watches his sister eat the pavement, then you hear Rob's "Oh,NO!", then you hear Emily crying, then my response at the end. It's just too funny! You might have to watch it a few times to get the full effect. Again, I didn't mean to get this shot, but I'm glad I did. LOL!

"Wipe Out" (you have to say it like the Dirty Dancing line-then comes the music)

Well tonite was the nite that Emily had her first bike wreck. It wasn't too bad, she just cut it too tight in a turn.

The hands got a little road rash.



The knee got a scrape.




Even the ankle got a little skin scrape.


OK Laura, does this include me in your "bad mother" group? LOL!


I do think Eva's pics have this one beat. Those will be priceless!

First attempt at home made Biscuits

Ok, here they are. I make hocky pucks! At least they're the way I like them. They're pretty and they actually pretty good. I don't get why they didn't rise. I even put baking power in it. Oh, well...

They were actually really good. It is a Paula Deen recipe. I had no idea HOW to make them. There is NO Bisquick in this, it's all natural flower.


Ok, Mom and Dad, I have a whole new appreciation for real biscuit makers. I'm sure there is a real technique to making them, but it comes with practice. Truly. They DO take a long time to do and its really messy! Oh well, we'll see if there's a next time. =)

Every time we would turn and look at the other kids this is how we would find Eva. Going face first in the water (on several occasions I might add) and completely underwater! She'd just get righted by an adult wipe off her face and keep on going. What a trooper!
