Disney Take 6

This was our vey last autograph of the day in EPCOT.  We had to tell the kids WHO this lady was.  She even talked Brittish!  Mary Poppins told Emily to stand just like her for the picture. =)

Night time pool time later that night.  Guess who was doing laundry and fighting all the other moms in the small laundry facilities.  =)

Here we are at Hollywood Studios.

While we stood in line for 50+ minutes for Woody and Buzz we got some cute pictures.  Here's one of Emily being blasted off on the rocket.

Sully and Mike from Monster's Inc.

The kids with the New York skyline in the background. =)  (not really though)

Disney Take 5

Here are a few pictures from our hotel.  We stayed in the Dalmations area but we HAD to go get pics with the Toy Story peeps.

Em got a pic with Mullan. (she's wasn't very Asian...)

We waited in line for 35+ minutes to meet this couple.  I love this pic of Em with Aladdan Alex didn't want to have anything to do with them b/c he thought it was just going to be Jasmine.  But when Aladan (sp?) came out and they started to sign both autograph books they wanted to know who the other book belonged to and they got Alex out of his stroller and they took the picture below.  It was a good visit. =)

They were the best character look alikes!

Disney Take 4

Ok y'all. Sorry I have been so bad with posting pictures. All I have to say is all I want to do when we get back into our room at night is SLEEP & SHOWER! I am not kidding. We also had a night where we all pretty much were up ALL night. Alex we think either got food poisoning or he had the leftovers of Rob's bug on Monday night. So needless to say Tuesday's events were a bust. Thank goodness we had an extra day built into our dtay. I'll pick up where I left off.....

Monday we went to Animal Kingdom.  This place was HUGE and we should have brought the stroller, but Alex had done so well at Magic Kingdom the day before.

Here we are in front of the Tree of Life.  This is a HUGE man made tree and the brown tree part has carvings of different animals and stuff.  Really beautiful.

Here are the two little safari people.

I won't bore you with a bunch of pictures of our safari but it was my favorite ride of the whole day.  We really did feel like we were on an African safari.  Here are just a couple really close up pictures.

This rhino (sp?) walked right in front of our jeep.  I was on the edge of the jeep seats and I kept looking in the tall grasses as we went along just waiting for something to charge the jeep or a lion to attack me.  seriously!

And there he was! There were NO fences and the "girls" were no where to be seen!!!!  The driver said this was one of the best picture oppotunities he'd seen.

Got to meet a bunch of characters too!  The kid's autograph book has a BUNCH of character autographs.  Here is "Dug" the Dog and "Russell" from the movie "UP."  Alex didn't want to get his picture take with a dog and a "fat boyscout!"  Honest, that's what he said! I about died!!!!

Later that night we went to the African restauraunt.  It was really quite good and I even broke out of my food "rut" and tried some new stuff.  I had Goat with curry meat sauce and cous cous with dried fruit.  It was all really great going down but don't ask us about it about 4-6 hrs later....
This was also the night that Alex either ate too many African desserts (choc chip cookies) and got foot poison or the remnants of Rob's bug.  Oh well, it was a rough night but we got through it PTL!

Disney Take 3- Sunday- Magic Kingdom

Alex's day started off with a sweet start!  He loved this. =)  Don't ask how much this plate was...

We made it.  We got there for the "rope drop" and were some of the firsts to go into the park.  Everything was decorated for Halloween.  Would like to come back for Cmas though. =)

We got to meet "The Fairy Godmother."  She was so cute.

This is how it's going to be in about 5 years..... oh my stars.....

LOL!  Look at her neck!!!!  I couldn't stop laughing the whole ride.

We got to ride Alex's ride- Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin (fighting Zurg).  You can see who took this ride seriously. ;)  I almost lost my cookies on this one.... =P

We had our first "sit down dinner" tonite at The Plaza restauraunt.  We had a wondeful "homecooked" food- meatloaf, mashed taters and gravy and corn!!! Yummy!  We also get a dessert with every dinner.  This was Rob's.  That dish was as big as his head.  And yes, G&P Nelson, he had to leave half of it on the plate.  We couldn't finish our desserts. =)

This is what the kids chose as their dessert.  Fresh cookies and milk.

Finishing out the day getting ready to leave.  Arn't they cute with the little ears.

Disney Take 2 - Sat. nite

"Mr. Sprinkles II"  Alex eating dessert after his sandwich at Earl of Sandwich.  That place rocks!!!

This one is for Lily and Eva.  Tell them E & A send their love a big hugs from Buzz.

This one was at Lego Land.  This picture was made out of Legos!!! Yes!

Look at the seriousness of Alex face. =)

I was getting ready to take a pic of R,E & A and some random guy grabbed my camera and said "get in."  I was like, NO, hes gonna take my camera.  It was all good.  The fella was Scotish so it's all good.

Here's our building at All Star Movies. Our window is to the right of the inside of the TV screen.  Thank goodness we were not near the pool.

Here's a little bit of "PG" rated TV.  ;)

Just goofing off.  =)  The kids kept saying, "stop! you're embarassing us!"  hahahahhaah

Jekyll Island, GA & Day one at Disney

When we saw this bridge coming up I about died!

Shew! There's our bridge to get to the island.

 Going over the bridge. Beautiful!

Our afternoon on the beach.  So beautiful and different.

Here we go walking on the beach.  Wonder what we'll find.

 Beach combing....

We saw like a dozen of these horseshoe crabs that were dead and had beached themselves. NASTY!

 Loggerhead sea turtle egg site.

Leaving the island, looking out over the bridge.  Beautiful and flat!

There's that big bridge that took you to the northern island -Brunswick Island.

 Gettin' close....

Yea!!! We made it!!!!

Emily and the boys playing in the big pool.

This is the "smaller" pool in our hotel complex.
